Rally to End the Shutdown
Boston MA: This Friday union members from a wide cross section of Federal agencies will be speaking out against the pointless Federal government shutdown. Hundreds of thousands of working people - many in Massachusetts - are being denied pay as the shutdown enters its fourth week and millions are without vital government services that keep our state and country running.
What: The Greater Boston Labor Council (GBLC) and the Massachusetts AFL-CIO rally in conjunction with the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE) and the National Association of Government Employees (SEIU NAGE) against the Federal government shutdown
When: Friday, January 11th at 12PM
Where: Boston’s Post Office Square

Steven A. Tolman, President of the Massachusetts AFL-CIO says, "We won’t be held hostage to Trump’s clueless crusade to build a wall. We call on the Administration and the new Congress to work together to support the house legislation and reopen the government.”
