WILD Summer Institute
WILD is an inspirational educational program that provides women with the leadership vision, confidence, and skills to become more effective leaders and organizers in the Massachusetts labor movement and community organizations. The program begins with dinner on Friday, June 21 and ends on Sunday, June 23 at 3 pm after graduation lunch.
The weekend includes workshops on leadership development, understanding the effects of oppression and a variety of skill-building topics. There are also opportunities to network with other labor sisters and have a lot of fun!
Information & Cost Tuition: $250 per person for room, meals, and materials Childcare: On-site childcare is provided with prior registration for children ages 2 – 12. Cost: $60 for the first child, $30 for each additional child.
Scholarships: Limited financial assistance is available on a sliding scale if applied for in writing by June 3. Please call 617-328- 1696 with questions. Cancellations: If you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. If you do not notify us by June 14, you (or your union/organization) will be responsible for all costs.
