Darrin Howell is an accomplished labor, community, and political organizer with just under two decades of experience in advocating for workers' rights and driving impactful campaigns. As the Organizing Director for the Massachusetts AFL-CIO, Darrin leverages a deep understanding of labor relations, strategic planning, and grassroots mobilization to advance the interest of working families across our state.

Throughout his career, Darrin has demonstrated exceptional leadership in coordinating large-scale organizing efforts, political and community engagement, and working with various coalitions advocating for diverse worker groups. Darrin’s commitment to racial, social, and economic justice is reflected in successful campaigns that have led to improved quality of life and working conditions.

With a proven track record of driving membership participation and increasing union influence, Darrin is dedicated to strengthening the labor movement in Massachusetts and ensuring that every worker’s voice is heard.

With years of experience as a statewide leader with SEIU and 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, Darrin brings strong relationships and knowledge to his practical experience making Darrin a dynamic and innovative leader in the field of labor organizing.
