Lindsay Kenney

Lindsay joined the team in 2020 as a Political & Legislative Organizer, becoming Legislative Director in 2024, and Chief of Staff in 2026.  As Chief of Staff, she works to advance the state federation's strategic vision to build an economy that actually works for working people. While Legislative Director, she was responsible for overseeing the state federation's legislative advocacy and policy development, along with coordination between affiliate legislative programs and policy priorities. Prior to joining the MA AFL-CIO, she served as the Associate Director of Operations for the Massachusetts Democratic Party, where she worked on multiple campaigns and helped organize the annual Democratic Convention. Lindsay’s first experience with the labor movement was working on the field team for IBEW member Paul Feeney’s state senate special election; she later returned to Senator Feeney’s re-election team as his campaign manager.
