Sezan McDaniel

Sezan joined the Massachusetts AFL-CIO in 2022 as a Workforce Development Specialist after serving as Chief of Staff for Massachusetts State Representative Peter Capano and successfully running his campaign in 2018. She previously did research and programmatic work for the Atlantic Council and the Brookings Institution as well as nonprofit advocacy on Capitol Hill. 

A native Texan, Sezan earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston and a master’s degree from American University’s School of International Service in Washington, DC.
